🛠️ Gift of Craftsmanship: The Skilled Servant

Definition:
This gift empowers believers to use their hands, tools, and technical skills to serve God and others. It’s practical, detailed, and deeply spiritual—building or repairing what helps the church thrive.

Key Scripture:

“I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills—to make artistic designs... to engage in all kinds of crafts.”
Exodus 31:3–5 (about Bezalel)

Biblical Examples:

  • Bezalel and Oholiab: Crafted the tabernacle with precision and artistry (Exodus 36).

  • Noah: Built the ark according to God’s detailed instructions—faithfully and skillfully.

Modern Applications:

  • Set building for drama or VBS.

  • Church repairs, tech installations, or sound booth support.

  • Designing signage, constructing baptismal pools, or improving accessibility.

  • Teaching others skills that support ministry.

🎨 Gift of Creative Communication: The Inspired Artist

Definition:
This gift allows believers to express biblical truth through artistic mediums—music, drama, visual art, poetry, and more. It stirs hearts, clarifies truth, and brings people closer to God.

Key Scripture:

“Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp... praise him with strings and pipe!”
Psalm 150:3–5

  • David: A poet, songwriter, and musician who brought truth and emotion together.
