Some people walk beside others faithfully, helping them grow over time. Others are compelled to speak truth—especially when no one else will. The gifts of Shepherding and Prophecy may seem opposite, but they both serve the church by building it up in love and truth.

📣 Gift of Prophecy: The Bold Truth-Teller
Definition:
The prophetic gift is the Spirit-empowered ability to speak timely, convicting truth that aligns people with God’s Word and will. It’s not about telling the future—it’s about calling people back to faithfulness.

— Romans 12:6

🔗 How They Work Together
Shepherds walk with people in love. Prophets wake up people to truth. One patiently guides the flock; the other calls them back when they wander. Together, they reflect the full care of God: tender and truthful, present and prophetic.
